Solution : Delete ‘0′ (Zero) Byte Files from Windows XP/Vista Desktop
Users getting the following types of problems while deleting ‘0′ Zero byte files from Windows XP and Vista…
in Windows XP While Deleting Zero Byte file users get “Error Deleting File or Folder. Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk”
in Windows Vista While Deleting Zero Byte files users get “Could not find this item. This is no longer located in (location). Verify the item’s location and try again”.
99% of the people get these problem on Desktop, either on xp or vista.even i got this problem on my vista desktop (Where 4 files unable to delete which have zero byte memory with invalid extensions). So i googled for 2 days to get solution.
Solution :
1.Download an utility called “Delete Invalid File” (divfinst.exe) from purgeie.com
2.This is just 600kb program (100% Safe to Use).
3.After Download ,Install that utility and run it.
4.Select & Delete all files (using Delete file via Shortcut name) which are invalid and Zero (0) byte files one by one.
That’s it.
if you are unable to download it from link mentioned above (Download Here).
